Trouble booting up. EFI Shell Version 2.31 [4.653]

Advent PC, bought October 2012, 8gb ram, 2tb HDD, Intel I5 processor crashed on wednesday, then when rebooted no longer loads windows and instead comes up with this message:

Any ideas???

Hi,
You could try typing exit at the Shell> prompt and pressing [Enter] to see if it will now allow you to boot into Windows. If this prompt keeps coming up or you're unable to get into Windows from this point, your best bet is to use the "Got a question" link on the right to speak to our Knowhow support team. As your computer is under warranty they should be able to offer you advice and possible repair options should that be necessary.

I was given a advent 2410 to repair and experienced the same problems ... to enable to pc to boot i went into the bios and did the following
1)disable fast boot and windows 8 logo
2)change boot mode from uefi to legacy
3)full screen logo enabled
after saving and exiting the bios windows booted ok however im suprised how technical advent pc,s can be .....
